Our Taekwondo Training Programs consists of a warm-up, fundamentals, goals, structure, character building, and a refreshing cool-down.
Little Lions (ages 4-6)
In addition to learning Taekwondo basics, young students will develop their gross motor skills, core strength, and coordination.
Little Lions training will include fighting stances, proper attention, basic techniques, simple board breaking, terms, blocking, and the history of Taekwondo.
Junior (ages 7-12)
Junior Taekwondo Class Student will study Taekwondo fundamentals including forms, free sparring, and break-falls. Juniors will begin their belt ranking journey starting with the yellow belt.
Master Smith’s training will teach kids important life skills like self-control and confidence. Self-control training can help children harness their feelings and use them in a productive way.
Adults (ages 13 and older)
The study of Taekwondo is not just about strengthening our body, but our mind and spirit as well. Within the adult program, students become a complete martial artist, while appreciating not only new physical skills, but the purpose of the history.
The adult belt progression starts with yellow. Each belt color mandates a specific curriculum for testing. Students apply for new belt colors prior to testing dates which are held once a month.
